Reporting a factual error
This is the message we most want to receive. If a coin weight, a purity figure, a multiplier or a calculation on this site is wrong, tell us — it matters more here than almost anywhere, because people make real decisions on these numbers.
To help us fix it quickly, include:
- The page the error is on
- The figure you believe is incorrect
- The correct figure, and where it comes from, if you know
We check every report, correct what needs correcting, and record the change in the page's update history.
What we cannot help with
Being clear about this saves everyone time.
We cannot value your specific items. We are not appraisers and we cannot see or test what you have. Our calculators will tell you the melt value of a given weight and purity, but establishing what you actually hold requires someone with it in their hands.
We cannot advise you on buying or selling. We are not licensed financial advisers. We publish information; decisions about your money should involve a professional who knows your circumstances.
